Advanced Surgical Assistant
Certified Surgical Assistants provide that second pair of hands needed in surgery to assure patient safety and efficiency. The CSA credential assures the patient, surgeon, and hospital that a professional with highly honed skills at the advanced level will be assisting in the surgery.

Current Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 350 cases and two full years of First Assistant experience during the last four years. Must have two NOTARIZED Experience Verification Forms from two surgeons or surgical supervisors for the same time period.
