Bioskill Laboratories
School for Allied Health Professionals has be design with a high-quality customized laboratory, ideal for Bioskill labs. Some of its great customization feature is chemical resistant worktops and flooring for prevention of bacteria build up. It's also design for multi- complex needs, which allows more than one function to be performed. It's equipped with a verity of medical surgical instruments and medical equipment. This and many more features are established in this state of the art faculty, making it one step easier for the counting education of our health care providers.

Bioskills is undertaking a Professional Education endeavor designed to train surgeons on the operative use of hemostatic agents and tissue sealants. In the past labs have been conducted around the country to test the hypothesis that US surgeons will benefit from education around surgical homeostasis and bioskill technology. So far, the 200 surgeons who have attended have very well received these events. As a company we are convinced that these types of events serve a very important need and plan to deliver this training on a much larger scale overt the next few years.

The event begins with an overview of the science and technology behind homeostatic agents and tissue sealants. The event then moves into the lab where various procedures and situations are recreated in a live porcine model so that the surgeons can learn and practice new techniques using our Bioskills use of the animals, a portion of the time spent in the lab is reserved to test prototypes for new hemostats and sealants we are developing. The surgeons are asked to use these new products in various situations and give our product development teams real time feedback on product performance. The event concludes with a round table discussion of the products, how they performed, and the techniques that were used to apply them. This agenda enables us to combined 2 very important activities (surgeon training and new product development) into a single event, maximizing all of the resources involved.
